Our story
From
September onwards in the Baux de Provence Valley it
is usual to see a bowl of the famous “olives cassées”
on the table at aperitif time. The
Baux de Provence Valley is renowned for its olive groves.
Mas Saint Roman is situated in the heart of the valley,
and the GONFOND family boast a traditional know-how
of ‘olives cassées’ production. Raymond GONFOND, for whom olive growing is nothing short of a passion, is also very active within the olive-growing profession. He has managed to combine national and European regulations with his own traditional know-how. |
